Sirje Sirita Somelar is a self-taught artist.<\/p>\n

“Nowadays, knowledge is available and studying is only a matter of decision,” She says.<\/p>\n

“And it is just so fascinating and overwhelming to move towards something called perfection, even if you know by heart, it might never happen”.<\/p>\n

In July 2017, Sirje presented her first collection of large-scale acrylic paintings to her friends.<\/p>\n

The first public exhibition took place in Tallinn in 2019, where the collections “Estonia 100” and “Dancing Inks” were presented.<\/p>\n

In 2022 a portrait exhibition was opened in Tartu Kvartal.<\/p>\n
